Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation Fund

The Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation Fund, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing financial resources to enrich and enhance education in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Established in 2006, the Foundation is committed to sustaining the world-class standards of Gwinnett County Public Schools. A Board of Trustees that is representative of the Gwinnett community governs the Foundation, fostering the belief that community involvement in public education is essential to promoting an educated, healthy, responsible citizenry and desirable quality of life in Gwinnett County. 

The mission of the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation Fund, Inc. is to sustain the world-class standards of Gwinnett County Public Schools by strengthening internal and external community relationships providing resources and support to improve the educational future of all students.

Gwinnett County Public Schools educates 1 in 10 Georgians, and is the 11th largest school district in the US with over 183,000 students and 25,000 full and part-time employees. More than 100,000 GCPS students (largest in the state) qualify for Federally Funded Title 1 meal programs every day. Above all, the district is also incredibly successful – more than 13,500 graduates crossed the graduation stage in 2023.

Championing www.gcps-foundation.org does the following:

1. Expands teaching and learning across the district.
2. Improves Mental Health and Vision for our most disadvantaged children.
3. Funds scholarships for first generation technical school and college bound students.
4. Provides classroom grants for teachers and school supplies to families that cannot afford them.
5. Fosters innovation in programs and initiatives.
6. Develops student and staff leaders in our schools through employee recognition and retention.
7. Connects students to food and shelter assistance experiencing home and food insecurity.
8. Offers Employee Perks to our staff.

We work together to provide resources and assistance to improve the educational future of ALL students. The GCPS Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing education in GCPS by sustaining the district’s world-class standards as we encourage, embrace, educate, excite, empathize and empower all of our students and teachers.
