Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta

Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta (GRRA) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving Golden Retrievers and golden hearted dogs that are in need of new forever homes.  We have no paid employees, everyone within GRRA volunteers their time, homes and hearts to help these pups in need.  Started in 1991, GRRA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered with the State of Georgia and is licensed by the State Agriculture Department as an animal shelter and rescue group.  GRRA currently rescues Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Flat Coat Retrievers, Goldendoodles and Labradoodles.  In 2024, GRRA rescued and rehomed 233 dogs.  Our medical needs for 2026 are expected to be approximately $300,000.   Please donate to help us in our mission to save more goldens and golden hearted dogs in need.
