The Global Paint for Charity, Inc. (GPC) is focused on the future of our children and their environments by creating the first sustainable paint waste management program in the United States and Canada. Global Paint for Charity recovers discarded paint from businesses, individuals, and paint industries, processes it, repackages it, and works with distribution partners and NGOs to ship and distribute it to vulnerable populations worldwide. As many as 5000 to 6000 gallons of paint have been sent to 45 countries in West Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, and war-torn areas of the Middle East and beyond. Our efforts have reached more than 15 million populations worldwide, and our volunteers have completed over 825k community service hours. The distributed paint has a market value of $25 million, which makes it one of the most significant donations of foreign aid to developing countries from a typical NGO. This is the most efficient way to eliminate unwanted or unsold products while taking advantage of our low service cost and tax-deduction status.

Today, 1.6 billion people live without adequate shelter. In some countries, the percentage of the urban population living in slums is as high as 90%. For instance, it’s estimated that 80 percent of the world’s homes and schools face the dreary reality of unpainted walls and lack of sanitation solutions, and more than 170 million children have never had access to a painted classroom. The ripple effect of using unwanted paint for a family home in Central America or a school in West Africa is Astounding. The conversion from wasted to applied paint protects the environment, beautifies schools, playgrounds, hospitals, family homes, and women's centers, increases people's morale, and has significant positive health impacts in poorer communities worldwide.

Global Paint for Charity is a champion for local low-income families and individuals, including single elderly seniors, widows, and disabled veterans who cannot otherwise afford to have their aging homes painted. Our mission is to hire and retrain individuals and volunteers with barriers to employment, collect discarded paint that would otherwise go to waste and overflow our landfills, and use it to beautify underserved communities and support local street artists and people worldwide. We believe in using color to change lives and decorate our planet, one gallon of paint at a time!

An estimated 70% of the paint is shipped overseas. In comparison, 30% is kept for residents and nonprofit groups in the U.S. GPC works closely with its distribution partners operating in developing countries to manage the paint distribution. We seek organizations with a proven track record of successfully getting the paint to vulnerable populations, distributing it properly, and handling the responsibilities of a paint project.

We could not have done it without your support! In the next nine years, we will focus on building a new team of professionals, and we look forward to supporting more local and national nonprofits and our "Basic Schools Beautification Programs in Africa." our goal is to paint approximately 8000 schools in 12 countries by 2030. Monetary contributions are always appreciated and are the easiest and least time-consuming thing to give… please consider making a small donation of any amount to help us protect the environment and put smiles on many faces worldwide. With a small monetary donation from people like you and a little help from corporations and private firms, we can make a real difference in better livelihoods worldwide.
