Camp Glisson Inc

Since 1925, the United Methodist Church has invited children and youth to experience summer camp at Glisson. Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia, Glisson's 367 acres surrounding Cane Creek Falls are a natural haven of creation. However, it's not our waterfall, pool, or high ropes course that cause the families of over 2,500 campers to choose Glisson each summer. The reason we hear time and time again? The Christian community experienced at camp.

Small group Christian camping contributes uniquely to the development of the whole child: helping campers grow spiritually, experience daily physical activity, develop social skills, learn new skills and increase self-confidence, and develop Christian leadership all within a supportive group of peers and counselors. Glisson is a national leader at providing a safe and rich camp experience.
