Girls on the Run Georgia

Our mission is joyful, healthy, confident girls! Our 3rd-8th grade participants rely on us for caring mentors, physical activity, and care for their social-emotional health. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing accessible programming to all girls regardless of socioeconomic status by using a sliding scale starting at $0 for all of our afterschool programs. You can help us keep this promise!

We are also excited to share that we have expanded our reach to girls in more geographic areas. Whereas we have served Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett and Cobb Counties for decades, we now additionally reach participants in Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Forsyth, Hall, Jackson, Oconee, and Richmond Counties. We want as many girls as possible to have access to our powerful social, emotional and physical health curricula!

We are proud that third-party research shows that after participating in Girls on the Run girls improve in how much they like the kind of person they are, and that they learn how to manage their emotions, resolve conflict and make intentional decisions. They increase their physical activity, and their screen time decreases.
