Girl Talk, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Less than 21% of girls believe that they possess the qualities to be a good leader.

Between the ages 12-13, the percentage of girls who say they're not allowed to fail increases by 150%.

Girl Talk is part of the solution

After one week of Girl Talk Camp in 2019:

  • 93% of girls feel more confident about themselves

  • 90% consider themselves leaders

  • 97% feel confident in their ability to empower others

  • 91% learned transferable leadership skills

At Girl Talk, our mission is to inspire all girls to be confident leaders through peer-to-peer mentoring programs. We envision a world in which all girls live confidently, lead fearlessly, and support one another.

We believe that there is no limit to a girl's leadership potential and that there should be no barrier, financial or otherwise, to her opportunity.

Your support ensures that we can continue to offer our program at no cost to our participants.

Girl Talk was founded in 2002 in Albany, GA to help middle school girls navigate the social and emotional challenges of adolescence. Today, Girl Talk has grown to nearly 500 Chapters within 10 countries by providing leadership opportunities for high school girls as peer-to-peer mentors.
