Georgia Trauma Foundation

Georgia Trauma Foundation is a champion for the state’s trauma system. We are passionate about saving lives and preventing injuries because we know that trauma is a major threat to our health and well-being. It’s the top killer of people under 45 in the U.S, and the fourth for all ages. That’s why, since 2013, we have been working to make Georgia safer and more ready to treat trauma. We do this by funding programs that educate people on injury prevention and train healthcare workers on lifesaving skills.

We believe that everyone in Georgia deserves the best trauma care possible, no matter where they live or what kind of injury they have. We want to ensure that you get the help you need when you need it because trauma can strike you at any time regardless of where you are and what you are doing. 

We're unique because we're the only trauma foundation in Georgia that is not tied to any hospital or organization. That means we can focus on the whole trauma system and what's best for you. We depend on donations to keep doing our work.
