Georgia Reconnecting Youth Inc

The GRY [Georgia Reconnecting Youth] Project is committed to improving the employability of disconnected young adults aged between 16 and 29 by partnering with the Project Management Institute to pilot innovative workforce development solutions. Our mission is to empower youth-serving and youth-led organizations or initiatives by building their capacity and increasing the employability of young adults through a virtual program that focuses on developing skills in social entrepreneurship and project management.

Our goal is to gather data on the effectiveness of this unique education and placement pathway and to provide young adults with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge as changemakers and coordinators within a network of youth-serving nonprofits. Through this program, we aim to provide young adults with the necessary tools and knowledge to manage and lead successful social impact projects and to be successful in their professional careers, while also empowering them to contribute to their communities.

We ask for your support to provide project management certifications and worksite experiences. Our participants also will be matched with a performance coach who help connect them to wrap-around services that can support the home/work balance and access to resources.
