The Georgia Children’s Chorus (GGC) is an auditioned children’s choral organization, in-residence at the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music, dedicated to providing excellence in music and choral training for boys and girls ages 7-18 in Northeast Georgia. GCC was founded in 1998 as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and has educated more than 275 children in the musical arts in the past 25 years. GCC currently serves children from more than 32 public, independent, and home schools representing 12 counties.

GCC is committed to building a choral community where the goal is excellence in music, personal accomplishment, civic pride, and community spirit. As such, the chorus works with area music specialists, choral directors, church music programs, and other organizations to sustain and enhance the quality of music education in Northeast Georgia. The goal of GCC is to make the chorus accessible to every child in Northeast Georgia, regardless of race or economic status through need-based financial assistance.
