Georgia Cares

A nonprofit organization

Georgia Cares serves any youth up to age 18 in the state of Georgia who has been sexually exploited or trafficked. Georgia Cares believes that youth who have been exploited can be restored to safety, health, and well-being when they are recognized as survivors of sexual abuse and supported with appropriate treatment.

Georgia Cares employs licensed social workers who meet with youth to conduct a comprehensive assessment that identifies each youth’s unique needs and strengths. Through collaboration with both public and private community partners and, most importantly, the youth themselves, Georgia Cares customizes service plans that are goal-driven and outcome-oriented. Alongside distinctive  relationships with therapeutic and residential providers who have the passion and skill to serve survivors of DMST. Our organization helps to arrange care specific to every youth as an individual. Georgia Cares then monitors each youth’s progress throughout their journey to recovery, providing emotional support, connections to local resources, and a valued perspective to partners.

In addition, Georgia Cares also operates a 24-hour, 7-day hotline to help survivors of DMST.
