Gateway Center

For almost 20 years, Gateway Center (GWC) has served as a bridge for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Atlanta as they transition to permanent housing. As a homeless service provider, Gateway Center offers holistic wraparound supportive services, short-term residential (shelter) programs, and intensive case management to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness in obtaining sustainable income and stable housing.

Our transformational services equip guests with the support necessary to improve their health and well-being, obtain sustainable income, establish savings, and secure permanent housing. GWC is committed to eliminating barriers, improving equitable outcomes, and creating opportunities in underserved and under resourced communities by supporting individuals and families on their journey to safe and stable housing. By linking individuals with emergency short-term residential housing (shelter), intensive case management, housing placement assistance, career services support, and behavioral health intervention, Gateway Center assists guests enrolled in our residential programs in obtaining sustainable income, transitioning to stable housing, improving their overall well-being, and breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness for their families.
