For 15 years, Forsyth Farmers’ Market has been a cornerstone of Coastal Georgia, connecting communities to fresh, locally grown food while fostering economic growth and sustainability. 

Our Saturday Market provides a vibrant space for farmers and growers within a 125-mile radius to sell their produce, offering visitors a literal taste of wholesome Southern cuisine and lifestyle.

Through programs like Farm Truck 912, which makes over 30 stops each month in underserved neighborhoods, and 912 Food Farmacy, a 'food as medicine' program offered with the support of the USDA GusNIP, we ensure fresh, affordable food is accessible to all. Our participation in Fresh for Less, sponsored in part by Wholesome Wave Georgia, doubles SNAP benefits, making healthy eating a reality for more working families across our industrial communities.

As coalition builders, we partner with organizations like Healthy Savannah, SCCPSS, St. Mary’s, Good Samaritan, and the YMCA to enrich community knowledge through culturally correct cooking and nutrition education. Together, we strive to make nutritious food a right, not a privilege, while supporting sustainable, environmentally conscious farming practices.
