Forgotten Paws Dog Rescue

25 Years!  That is how long I have been doing rescue!

Forgotten Paws was founded in 2000, a few years after I started rescue with another organization.  Since then we have saved thousands of dogs off deathrow: young, old, sick, socially stunted, happy go lucky..you name it, we love them.   Our hearts are really with the seniors though and through the years, we have grown into a rescue and sanctuary for dogs who do not get adopted due to socialization issues, behavioral issues, or medical issues.  

Our focus has become senior rescue, sanctuary and hospice care and the goal for 2020 is to make this transition fully.

We are an all volunteer organization run by a handful of dedicated people.  Our funding comes from public donations only.  We do not get corporate support, grants or other funding.  Those tend to go to the huge groups who have the paid employees to do their marketing and  write grants.  We have NO paid employees.  Every single dollar donated to Forgotten Paws goes to a vet bill, feeding, housing, supplies for the care of the animals. 

We will do our best to continue our mission but we cannot do it without your donations.
