Our Farm Rescue is located in NW Georgia and the local county poverty rate is 29.1%.  That means that 1 out of every 3.4 residents live below the poverty level.   As a predominately rural area, this lack of resources affects livestock and animal welfare as well.  Many animals are sick or may die from lack of nutrition and necessary veterinary care.   Additionally, many animals are culled when they are no longer monetarily productive. Forever Found Farm Rescue provides homes for unwanted and older farm animals like horses, sheep, cows, chickens, goats, guinea fowl, turkeys, rabbits, dogs and cats that may otherwise be unloved and cared for.

 

Here, at Forever Found Farm Rescue, we provide care for rescue farm animals.  We provide boarding (stalls, barns, coops, shelters, etc.) for animals as well as adequate pasture, water, nutrition, care and grazing land.  Additionally, we use donations to help ensure we have secure fencing, necessary provision items, and veterinary care (farriers for our hoofed friends) and yes, we have even taken a chicken to the vet!  Donations support our work to provide a safe environment with plenty of food, shelter, safety and veterinary care (routine and emergency).  We not only provide homes and survival care for our rescues, but we shower them with much needed affection and attention.  Routine care is provided on a daily basis to include brushing, weather protection, fly and pest management, supplements, food, layer needs, stall and coop cleaning, pasture and enclosure maintenance and bonding attachment.  Most importantly our rescue animals receive a forever home and are forever found!
