Our neighbors in Georgia need healthy food.

FSA delivers - but only with your help.

Our Mission: Creating Communities To Equip People In Need of Healthy Food

Why?

Because 1 in 7 people in Georgia cannot afford healthy food,

and 1 in 5 of them are children.

We need your help. Our board has challenged us to raise $3,500 for Georgia Gives Day. Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, increasing your impact. A gift of $100 buys groceries and fresh produce for a family for 6 months and a $250 gift buys groceries for all families at a single meeting. Let your love for others spread!

Ten months ago, Lillie Jones moved into Walton Village Legacy in Marietta.  Teresa, her next-door neighbor, told her about the food security group in their complex.  Lillie lives alone.  When asked about why she valued the group, she shared, “I’m on a fixed income.  This membership helps me stretch a dollar.  It is such a blessing, especially with the cost of groceries right now.  And our leader, Ms. PJ, is a wonderful lady.  We all work together.”  Her enthusiasm is about more than the food, too.  “We really try to help each other and look out for each other.  We pray for each other.  We have barbeques, games, and the program keeps us happy and active. This Co-Op doesn’t just touch my life.  Every week, I can share my food with my mother, my daughter, and my grandkids.  We all benefit.
