Inspiring Curiosity, Connecting Through Nature and Science

Fernbank Museum is where discovery comes alive through awe-inspiring exhibits, giant-screen adventures, and outdoor experiences that spark a passion for science, nature, and human culture.

As we look to 2026 and beyond, Fernbank is entering a bold new era of growth and innovation. The year ahead will bring exciting new exhibits, expanded educational programs and more opportunities for guests to discover a world of wow.

We’re also revitalizing and creating new spaces that will revolutionize the guest experience and redefine how visitors engage with Fernbank. Our Place in the Cosmos  (opening December 2026) will explore the universe, its formation and how humans have connected to the constellations over time. Fernbank’s new signature exhibit, Changing Earth (opening 2027), will showcase our planet and its interrelated, dynamic systems (land, water, air and life) to reveal the beauty, phenomena and diversity across every part of our world. The Orkin Discovery Zone (opening 2026) will feature a hands-on, active learning environment where guests can become scientists and hone their observation skills while learning about biodiversity, classification, communication and more.

Your support has a meaningful impact. Donations to Fernbank’s Annual Fund go toward Fernbank’s most pressing needs, from sustaining world-class programs to maintaining our immersive learning environments and serving thousands of students each year. Every contribution fuels discovery and inspires future generations.

Visit our website for more information on exhibits, giant screen films, nature adventures, ways to give and more.
