Family Life Restoration Center Inc

Family Life Restoration Center (FLRC) is a veteran- and minority-led organization that provides a variety of programs and services designed to meet basic needs while helping individuals and families achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and hope. Through food assistance, clothing, health and wellness resources, workforce development, emergency support, and other family-centered services, FLRC works to strengthen and restore the family structure. We believe that when families are strengthened, communities are strengthened. Our goal is not simply to meet an immediate need, but to provide resources, support, and opportunities that help families move from crisis toward stability and restoration.At FLRC, we don't just ask, “What can we give you?”  We ask, “What does your family need?”  That difference matters.

Some of the services we offer:

• Food assistance / pantry services — our Client Choice Food Pantry is about more than providing groceries—it is about preserving dignity and restoring a sense of normalcy during a difficult season.
  Instead of receiving a prepacked box of food, families are able to select items that work best for their household, dietary needs, health concerns, and personal preferences. Parents can choose foods they know their children will eat, seniors can select items appropriate for their needs, and families can make decisions based on how they normally prepare meals at home.  Chin Up Belly Fully Hot Lunch Program provides hot meals to 150 to 200 neighbors every Friday.

• Clothing — providing new and gently used clothing.

• Sheltering/aid with basic shelter need for families by providing motel stays, rental and mortgage assistance when funds are available. Cooling and Warming Center to help our neighbors find shelter to protect them during extreme weather conditions.

• Medical Care -Virtual Health Care - allows clients to free primary healthcare through our partnership with GivingHealth.  Blood Pressure Kiosk at Family Life Restoration Center provides our community with convenient, no-cost access to an important health screening. For individuals who may not regularly visit a doctor or have easy access to healthcare, the kiosk provides an opportunity to simply stop by, check their numbers, and become more aware of their health.

• Other support services: Hot Showers, Workforce Development, other family resources for those in need, especially when families are unstable or weakened by various life challenges.
