The Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia (FCC) exists to strengthen and preserve the well-being of individuals, children, and families by ensuring easy, welcoming access to professional mental health counseling. Founded in 1957 by the Junior League of Macon and the United Way of Central Georgia, we have spent decades supporting people of all ages through life’s most challenging moments.
At FCC, we are committed to healing hearts, providing hope, and empowering lives through trauma-informed mental health counseling and case management, linking clients to housing, legal, medical, and other essential resources. By supporting the whole person and ensuring these foundational needs are met, we help children, teens, and adults fully engage in therapy, allowing clients to heal and achieve stability.
We proudly serve individuals and families who would otherwise be unable to afford these resources, offering the guidance and practical tools needed to rebuild well-being and strengthen long-term resilience. Together, we are creating a healthier, more connected, and more hopeful community - one child, one person, one family at a time.
