Environmental Community Action Inc

ECO-Action is a 501c3 nonprofit who provides organizing and technical assistance so that Georgia low-income communities and communities of color can empower themselves to eliminate air, land and water pollution. Since its inception in 1989, ECO-Action has assisted more than 140 community-based groups in 95 of the 159 Georgia counties to organize for changes that safeguard their community. ECO-Action serves the general population, but focuses its assistance on people and communities who are in need of it the most – often rural residents, people with limited formal education, those with few resources, women, children, and people of color.
