About

Enchanted Peach Children’s Foundation (EPCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting critically ill children, their families, and the medical teams who care for them. With a focus on compassion, professionalism, and meaningful impact, we work to bring comfort, hope, and strength to those navigating some of life’s most difficult journeys. We provide essential items that promote play, self-expression, and cognitive development during hospitalization, so that children experience reduced anxiety, improved emotional well-being, and better recovery outcomes.

EPCF works with Hospitals and Hospices throughout Georgia. Partnering with Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Emory Proton Therapy Center, Memorial Health Savannah, Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital Macon, Piedmont Regional Columbus, Children's Hospital of Georgia Augusta.

Our Programs

Southern Hospitality Program 

Providing essential toys, books, educational tools, and other much-needed items to support hospitalized children. Hospitalization can significantly disrupt a child's normal development, introducing stress, anxiety, and a loss of routine—factors that can negatively impact emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Prolonged stays away from familiar environments limit opportunities for play and exploration, both of which are critical for healthy development. Play is more than just fun—it is a powerful therapeutic tool that helps children process their experiences, express emotions, and maintain important cognitive skills. By supporting play and learning, the Southern Hospitality Program plays a vital role in promoting the well-being and recovery of children during hospital stays.

Family Focus Program 

Caring for a seriously ill child brings tremendous challenges for the entire family. During these difficult times, even a brief moment of relief can make a world of difference. Guided by referrals from the medical community, our Family Focus Program provides families with much-needed breaks—joyful experiences designed to uplift and restore.

We offer day-long outings to beloved destinations such as Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Sloomoo Institute, LEGOLAND, local sporting events, and more. These special adventures are carefully timed to align with moments of treatment or recovery, ensuring they are safe and restorative.

Importantly, the program also embraces the siblings—those quiet heroes who face their own emotional burdens. Together, families create joyful memories that bring laughter, strengthen bonds, and offer a powerful reminder of hope and resilience.

A comforting companion for families navigating the challenges of serious illness. We believe in the power of storytelling to provide understanding, ease anxiety, and foster connection during difficult times.

Serious illness affects the whole family, often bringing uncertainty, tough conversations, and emotional strain. That’s why we’ve thoughtfully curated a collection of books designed to support children and their loved ones through every stage of a medical journey.

In collaboration with Child Life Specialists across hospitals and treatment centers in Georgia, we ensure our selections are age-appropriate, emotionally supportive, and aligned with the unique needs of each family. These experts help us choose stories that resonate and heal, making The Enchanted Peach Library a trusted resource for parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals alike.
