Delivering immediate moments of comfort and encouragement for seriously ill children, their families, and the medical teams caring for them in Georgia.

Together we can lessen the fear, anxiety, and isolation which children and their families endure while facing a life-threatening or life altering illnesses. Children with life threatening illnesses often have unmet needs that remain invisible within the broader health system. This lack of recognition can lead to gaps in the supportive care these children require, particularly in the realms of emotional support and developmental stimulation. EPCF helps bridge those gaps.

EPCF works with Hospitals and Hospices throughout Georgia. Partnering with Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Emory Proton Therapy Center, Memorial Health Savannah, Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital Macon, Piedmont Regional Columbus, Children's Hospital of Georgia Augusta.

Southern Hospitality Program - Empowering Healing Through Play, Learning, and Support

Provides much needed toys, books, educational tools and many items in need. Hospitalization can disrupt normal development in children by introducing stress, anxiety, and a lack of routine, which can impact emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Play also serves as a vital therapeutic tool, helping children process their experiences, express emotions, and maintain cognitive skills, ultimately supporting their overall well-being and recove

Family Focus Program - Bringing Joyful Moments to Families in Medical Crisis

For a family, during the challenges that come with caring for a critically ill child, often the best relief is a simple, quick break during difficult times. Referrals from the medical community advise us so that we can offer an alleviating opportunity to each of these families. Our program offers opportunities at outings to the Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Sloomoo, Legoland, sporting events and much more. We facilitate a day long adventure during appropriate moments of treatment or recovery. This program also benefits the siblings who quietly endure the hardship their brother or sister is facing. Families experience joyous moments and lasting memories. 

Enchanted Peach Library - Providing Comfort and Understanding Through Storytelling

Serious illness impacts the entire family, bringing uncertainty, difficult conversations, and emotional challenges. The Enchanted Peach Library is a thoughtfully curated collection of books designed to offer comfort, guidance, and understanding for families navigating medical journeys. We collaborate with Child Life Specialists in hospitals and treatment centers across Georgia to ensure the library meets the unique needs of families facing critical illness. 

Your generous contributions aid in funding each of these programs on a monthly basis. This gives children and their families a smile, a memory for years to come.
