DREC was established to provide Academic Tutoring, Education Resources, Education Scholarships, Sponsorship, Education Assistance, Mentoring and Counsel, Extra-Curricular Activities, Adult Literacy, Adult ESL Courses, and College Recruitment and mentoring.

• DREC is currently providing internship opportunities for Clayton State University students. These young, educated leaders are getting valuable life enhancements by providing their talents and creative thinking to younger up-and-coming students in the local community.
• DREC continues to mentor over 25 students through Spalding Collaborative in Griffin, Ga, and McDonough High School. These students are at a critical point in their educational success; DREC provides more support to help them attain their educational goals while navigating life challenges.  
• DREC continues to provide GED Prep, ESOL, and Workforce training through a partnership with Cochran library in Henry County.  
• DREC provides tutoring sessions to 5 students at the Haven House in McDonough, Ga. DREC realizes the importance of education and mentorship in every spectrum of the community.   
•  Participate  and donate school supplies at Back to School Events
