Making Home Repairs Affordable!

Hi friends!

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my fundraiser.

I’m raising $100 for Habitat For Humanity- DeKalb, the only nonprofit in DeKalb County that provides affordable home repair for older adults.

They do this through their Aging in Place Program which is designed to address the issues preventing older adults from aging safely and comfortably in their homes. They do things like install grab bars in bathrooms, build wheelchair accessible ramps, widen doorways, upgrade toilets to be ADA compliant, repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, fix structural issues, roofing, and more.

They do all of this with the support of people like us!

Currently, there are over 500 individuals on the waitlist who need critical repairs. With over 760,000 people living in DeKalb county, just imagine how large of an impact we can make if everyone gave a small gift of $5, $10, or $20!
