The DeKalb Symphony Orchestra (DSO) has been a cornerstone of the arts in DeKalb County for over 60 years, inspiring, educating, and connecting our community through the power of live symphonic music. Founded in 1964, the DSO presents affordable, high-quality performances across DeKalb County, making orchestral music accessible to all.

Each season, the DSO presents six concerts featuring diverse, innovative programming performed by professional and volunteer musicians. With sold-out performances and a loyal audience, the DSO continues to grow, reaching new listeners through community partnerships, educational initiatives, and performances that celebrate inclusivity and artistic excellence.
