Established in 2006, the Brighter DeKalb Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization in metro-Atlanta established to help youth and adults reclaim their lives by supporting the full continuum of behavioral health and developmental disability services provided by the DeKalb Community Service Board (DeKalb CSB). 

The goal of the Brighter Dekalb Foundation is to raise funds in an effort to support and expand services offered by Dekalb CSB, promote awareness, and to develop partnerships and collaborations to serve our population better. 

We provide the following services at DeKalb CSB:

Behavioral Health Services:

- Opioid Residential Recovery Program for Adult Males

- Substance Use Disorder Outpatient Services

- Innovative Mobile Telehealth Clinic Services

- Behavioral Health Adult Residences

- Individual, Group, & Family Therapy

- School- Based Counseling (APEX)

- Dekalb Regional Crisis Center

- Psychosocial Rehabilitation

- Supported Employment

- Peer Support Services

- Psychiatric Evaluation

- Case Management

Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services: 

- Community Access for Groups & Individuals

- Customized and Integrated Employment

- Pre-vocational & Vocational Training 

- Job Development and Coaching

- Day Programs at 2 Locations

- Residential Services

- Nursing Services
