Community Outreach and Advocacy Corporation

Community Outreach and Advocacy Corporation (COAC) addresses food, basic need, and job insecurities amongst youth and young adults in underserved populations across Atlanta, GA. COAC began in 2019 and has been in operation for 2+ years. We have addressed multiple challenges faced in underserved communities across Atlanta, GA, throughout the last two years. Historically our organization has helped feed and clothe 300+ children and families who lack consistent resources that allow them to thrive mentally and physically thorugh our Blessing Bag program. Equally, we've helped women who have survived domestic violence, get back to work by providing professional development resources such as resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles through The Good Resume Project.  Lastly, in our Gift a Student Program, we partner with local universities such Gwinnett Techical College and Morehouse University to provide monthly food and toiletry items to minority students who have negatively been impacted by COVID-19. To-date, the Gift A Student program has feed 250+ college sutdents!

These programs allow our oganization to empower, educate, and enrich the lives of so many that we work with!
