CCFFF was founded by two families who have experienced first hand the financial stresses which come with Cystic Fibrosis.
Cole Croteau and Kyle Cole were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (To learn more about CF click here) at a very young age. Cystic Fibrosis is not a kind disease, not only is CF very taxing on the patient’s body but it is very taxing on their loved ones as well. As parents, grand-parents and siblings of CFers we have dealt with many hardships: the loss of jobs or income due to a need to keep them on Medicaid; struggling to pay the copays and deductibles on the millions it takes to have a double lung transplant; and losing our homes and/or life savings to provide for the needs of our CF family members. We have also dealt with Kyle’s 59 days transplant hospitalization which required a number of life saving emergency procedures, and the passing of Cole at the young age of 17.
Cole, Kyle and their family came together and created Cole's CF Family Foundation to help CF families through their many struggles. They are dedicated to provide financial assistance to patients with Cystic Fibrosis and their families who are overwhelmed by the stresses caused by the disease and unable to meet their financial obligations.
Cole's Cystic Fibrosis Family Foundation is a non-profit Foundation under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Accordingly, the Foundation is not required to pay income taxes. Donors May deduct contributions to Cole's Cystic Fibrosis Family Foundation, only to the extent that their contributions are gifts, with no consideration given.Type your paragraph here.
