Christ Community Health Services Augusta is a community and faith-based organization providing affordable, quality healthcare to families in a ten-county region between Georgia and South Carolina. 

Our four clinics are strategically located in urban Augusta neighborhoods, providing local access to affordable care for patients who face medical, economic, and transportation hardships. These clinics offer a full range of health services to our patients regardless of their income level or insurance status.

Many of our patients are uninsured or under-insured. Richmond County is ranked 124 of 159 Georgia counties in health outcomes. The rate of uninsured adults living within Richmond county is staggering;

Richmond County: 14%

 29% of the population qualifies for Medicaid. Even with insurance, many families  do not have enough disposable income to afford medications, cover specialty copays, or invest in mental healthcare. 

At Christ Community, uninsured patients are welcomed and charged on a sliding fee discount scale based on household size and income. This sliding fee scale typically starts at $25 for a medical office visit and is based on the federal poverty guidelines.
