Our goal is to reduce debt, improve credit, and promote successful homeownership through counseling and education.

Established in 1965, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area, Inc. (CCCS) is a local nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization governed by a community board of volunteers who provide families with money management solutions. In fact, we provide counseling and educational services that reach over 7,000 individuals and families each year. Also, CCCS is a United Way member agency, a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), Council on Accreditation (COA) accredited and a HUD-approved housing agency. Further, our certified counselors are experts in credit, debt, and housing counseling.  CCCS is also a practitioner of the National Industry Standards for Home Ownership Education and Counseling.

Overall, our purpose is to increase financial knowledge, help families solve current financial problems, and achieve future goals.

Our mission is to provide the best non-profit community service, dedicated to delivering professional and confidential counseling, debt management, housing counseling, and consumer credit education to all segments of the community regardless of ability to pay.
