Catch The Promise (CTP) is a 501(c)(3) Breast Cancer organization committed to aiding underserved and high-risk communities. CTP is honored and grateful for the work we do in Virginia, Delaware, and Georgia to support breast cancer survivors, thrivers, co-survivors, caregivers, and those with a family history of the disease. Through our five programs, we strive to educate, celebrate, rejuvenate, encourage, and inspire survivors and their families. Breast cancer is not confined to the month of October—it is an ongoing battle and conversation that continues every day.

My name is Javalle McAllister, Georgia Ambassador and Board Member of CTP. With a 14-year victory over breast cancer, I have a deep appreciation for raising awareness about Breast Cancer risk factors and advocating for individual well-being. Diagnosed as BRCA1 positive at 21, I embraced a proactive approach inspired by my mother, leading to early intervention and survivorship.

CTP vision is to eliminate health disparities and reduce breast cancer mortality rates while restoring trust between underserved communities and medical providers.

CTPs mission is to:

  1. Reduce breast cancer mortality rates and eliminate health disparities.
  2. Minimize complacency that could lead to a late-stage diagnosis.
  3. Restore trust between African American communities and medical providers.
  4. Provide resources for survivors and high-risk communities. In

CTP Programs:

  • Educational Outreach: Program to educate high-risk communities about breast cancer risk factors, the importance of early detection, and developing healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Annual Survivor Brunch: Program for survivors to share experiences and learn medical updates.
  • Survivor Gift Baskets: Program for individuals newly diagnosed with Breast Cancer, gifting them with baskets for hope and encouragement.
  • Survivor Makeovers - "Sassy Sis": Program for survivors to reclaim their strength after treatments, with group sessions taught by professional stylists and make-up artists.
  • Survivor Kids - "Bear Hugs": Program to support children whose parents recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer by gifting them with a stuffed bear.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by Breast Cancer. CTP welcomes both monetary contributions and donations of products or services.
