Carroll County Mental Health Advocates

A nonprofit organization

Carroll County Mental Health Advocates (CMHA) is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness and addiction through comprehensive support services, education, and community-based resources.

The Recovery Spot of West Georgia, a program of CMHA, serves as a safe and welcoming space for individuals on the path to recovery. Through peer support services, outreach, and recovery-centered education, we help participants build resilience and reconnect with purpose.

Our Mental Health Diversion Program collaborates with the local court system to assist court-ordered participants in identifying barriers, accessing critical resources, and establishing a sustainable path toward stability and success.

All CMHA programs and services are free and open to the public, made possible through a combination of private, state, and federal grants, along with the generous support of individual and corporate donors. Every contribution directly supports programs that fill critical service gaps and strengthen the continuum of care for those impacted by mental illness and addiction in Carroll County.
