Caring For Others is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty through compassion, empowerment, and community support. For 25 years, Caring For Others has been a driving force in creating positive change in the lives of those facing economic hardships. The journey began with a simple idea: that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, regardless of their circumstances. This belief has fueled our work, and today, it guides us as we continue to make a difference in our community and beyond.

With 1 in 4 children in Atlanta struggling with hunger and 1 in 5 families unsure of where their next meal will come from, we are committed to changing the narrative and addressing the growing food insecurity crisis in the city. Caring For Others distributes more than 3 million pounds of fresh and nutritious fruits, vegetables and protein to thousands of families. 

We give voices to the faces of poverty and look forward to significantly enhancing our impact through strategic initiatives aimed at identifying food deserts, expanding distribution networks, promoting nutritional education, empowering local communities, and opening community grocery stores.

Caring For Others also extends its outreach beyond states and borders, providing vital resources to countries worldwide. With our global reach, we offer food, clothing, water, and supplies to those in need. We are committed to working directly with government officials and international organizations, ensuring that resources reach those most affected by natural disasters such as hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, and other emergencies.

Volunteers, donors, and partners are the key to our success. It doesn’t matter where you come from or how you look, poverty is not a respecter of persons. But together we can make a difference that restores dignity to families in need.
