$30,000 Goal

C5 Georgia’s mission is to change the odds for high potential teens from under-resourced communities by inspiring them to pursue personal success, while preparing them for leadership roles in college, work, and their communities.

We believe that youth should have equitable opportunities to achieve success regardless of their background, community, or life circumstances.

The 5 C's stand for Character driven, Community focused, Challenge ready, College bound, and Committed to a better future!

We are a very diverse program with 40% Black, 40% Hispanic, 10% White, 7% Asian and 3% mixed race among each year's cohort.

Our program results in great success with 100% of C5 students graduating high school and 95% attending a 4 year college or a technical school. C5 students have excelled at obtaining national awards such as the Posse Scholarship., the Gates Millennium, and Questbridge Scholarship. Several of our students attend Ivy League and prestigious schools such as Notre Dame, Emory, UGA, Georgia Tech and Stanford.

A vital part of our program is the connection for the students and the outdoors. They start this portion with two consecutive summers at a residential camp in the north Georgia mountains where they are taught leadership skills through outdoor activities. The 3rd year students are sent on a backcountry hike to the Tetons with NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) for a week. This teaches them how to overcome adversity and the challenges of life.

In the past 18 months, C5 Georgia has supported about 225 teens through the pandemic and we've realized the positive impact that C5 has had in their lives to help them thrive.

We are hoping to support many more teens in the upcoming year as we recruit for the Class of 2027, but we need your help! This Giving Tuesday, please commit to supporting C5 Georgia so we can continue our life-changing programs for deserving Atlanta teens. Thank you!
