Great horses have the power to change lives, and truly special ones may even help define them! People with disabilities face all kinds of obstacles, including an ongoing struggle with social situations. At Beyond Limits, everyone fits in and is accepted for the amazing person they are! 

Our program is one of the very few places a child can go where their diagnosis doesn't define their abilities.   The right horses, people, and environment can help participants progress like nothing else. The right horse will open up their world in ways you can only imagine!

Therapeutic Riding is adaptive horseback riding. Our passion is to provide therapeutic horse back riding lessons tailored to the needs of individuals living with disabilities. Through this, the bond between horse and human becomes unbreakable, and dreams become reality! 

Whether you struggle with depression or anxiety, cerebral palsy, have a physical disability, a learning disability, or a broader diagnosis of autism, we are here to help!  Right now, we have 9 amazing therapy horses to help serve the needs of our approximately 60 active riders!

So here is where you come in. We need your help! 

On May 25, 2023 we experienced a catastrophic barn fire.  Other than our horses, staff, and our undefeatable spirit, we lost everything we had built up and acquired over the past 10 years.   Literally everything.  Our amazing community rallied around us and donated tack, an ATV to drag the arenas, purchased items from our Amazon wish list, replenished our summer camp supplies, made monetary donations and most importantly supported us emotionally and with their time to help us get our riders back in the saddle!  Within 10 days we were able to resume our therapeutic riding lessons.

We still are finding things we lost in the fire as time goes on and our needs change, to the point that our new phrase at the barn is "Oh, that was lost in the fire".   Most recently, since the time change, we realized that all of our arena lighting equipment perished in the fire! We hadn't even thought of it until the sun went down at 6:00pm. We are in desperate need of new arena lighting so that we can continue with after school lessons as it gets dark so early this time of year.  The arena lights are  also needed for safety reasons to bring the horses in for dinner and tuck them in for the night.  Time is of the essence so our evening riders can continue their lessons throughout the winter and our team of volunteers stay safe while at the barn after dusk!

Please help support us in raising the money so we can get the materials needed this week allowing us to carry on with our mission which is to provide therapeutic horseback riding and other services for children and adults that promote and enrich their physical, developmental, psychological, and social well-being to encourage them to reach beyond limits.
