Because One Matters

Because One Matters (BOMs) exists to positively influence the trajectory of children impacted by foster care and young adults in underserved communities.

Our vision is to provide hope, dignity, empowerment, mentorship, and economic opportunity to children impacted by foster care and young adults in underserved communities.  

Because One Matters goals includes:

1. Children Impacted by Foster Care – Create lasting memories for children impacted by foster care in Georgia by supporting them through-out the journey:
   • entering foster care
   • while in foster care
   • transitioning out of foster care
2. Mentorship for underserved children/young adults –
   • Prepare underserved children/young adults for post-secondary success.
