BeastRob was created to honor the ultimate BEAST, Robert N. Vinson.

Robert was the father of our co-founder and a symbol of resilience and courage. Diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer at just 49, he battled fiercely for months until his passing in November 2008. Despite the pain, the treatments, and the odds, he kept working, kept smiling, and, most importantly, never gave up hope.

At BeastRob, we channel his fighting spirit into action, raising awareness, pushing for prevention, and building a movement rooted in strength, education, and solidarity. Colorectal Cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet it remains one of the deadliest, especially in communities of color.

Routine screenings should begin at age 45, but if you have a family history or are African American, start earlier. Knowing the symptoms, talking about it openly, and getting screened can save lives. We don’t just talk about prevention, we move with purpose, we show up for each other, and we turn every step, rep, or rally into a statement of strength.
