Housing affordability is the top concern among metro Atlanta residents, according to the newly released 2025 Metro Atlanta Speaks public opinion survey from the Atlanta Regional Commission. More respondents identified affordable housing as the region’s biggest problem than any other issue — including traffic, crime, and the economy. The need is great, and low- to moderate-income (LMI) families feel the strain most acutely.
At ANDP, we are committed to meeting that need by providing safe, stable, and affordable housing to working families across metro Atlanta. In the last fiscal year, ANDP and our development partners housed more than 2,000 LMI individuals through our single-family and multifamily work. We facilitated over $3 million in down payment assistance for new homeowners and supported the development of 591 affordable homes for LMI families through our Loan Fund.
This year, we also updated our wealth study and found that ANDP homebuyers have accumulated more than $190,000 in wealth after just five years of homeownership. That kind of generational impact changes the financial trajectory for families and helps strengthen communities.
But the need continues to grow — and so must our response.
Your support makes this work possible. This Giving Tuesday (December 2, 2025) and through the end of the year, we invite you to join us in expanding access to affordable homes, supporting vulnerable families, and transforming communities across our region. We cannot do this vital work without friends like you.
Please consider making your gift on Georgia Gives Day. Together, we can ensure every family has a place to call home.
A Chartered Member of NeighborWorks, ANDP develops, finances, and advocates for affordable housing at scale that promotes racial equity and healthy communities where families thrive.
