Offers small group breakouts that include hands-on simulations and games designed to show age-related health and cognitive challenges associated with everyday tasks, including hearing and vision loss, neuropathy, balance, aphasia and cognitive changes. , evidence-based programs provide family and professional caregivers as well as businesses and individuals who have interactions with persons with age-related health challenges an opportunity to better understand and serve them.   Sharing the experience with peers helps individuals process lessons learned in a meaningful, memorable way, directing their focus on positive problem solving. Participants are asked to complete everyday tasks and games that mimic the challenges and frustration a person feels doing these tasks with impairments.  Participants then become not only more compassionate, but also effective when dealing with care receivers.
