Auto Accident Survivors of Georgia (AASGa) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization based in metro- Atlanta focused on auto/tire related safety.
In October 2012, Kristen Rose was the victim of an auto accident that was caused by a catastrophic tire tread separation from a defective tire that had an outstanding recall. Throughout her years’ long litigation and recovery process, Kristen learned that the auto and tire recall system was, and still currently is, severely broken and antiquated. Kristen’s experience motivated and empowered her to effectuate change through founding AASGa to help with identifying areas for improvement with the auto and tire recall process, and ultimately saving lives.
AASGa’s mission is to help raise awareness and to provide education about auto/tire related safety and recalls, while advocating for safer roads to help reduce injuries and fatalities. Additionally, AASGa provides a resource center for those in need for those who have either directly or indirectly been affected by similar types of accidents. Kristen also works at the local, state, and federal levels to recommend and advocate for legislation that advances auto and road safety, and overall improvement of the recall system regulations.
