A Rescue Tail Inc

A Rescue Tail, Inc. is a 501(c)3, not for profit, organization based in Middle Georgia. Established in 2016, we have saved over 400 lives with only a small group of volunteers. 

Time has not changed our mission, it has only deepened our desire to make a difference.  We are dedicated to the re-homing of stray; owner surrendered and abandoned animals throughout the United States. We rely on the partnership of animal centered organizations and personnel to help meet our ultimate goal: Mass reduction of overpopulated animals through proper vetting, training and sterilization programs. 

Our desire is to make a change. To do this, we must increase our ability to make a difference. Helping hands allow us to continue our work and better the lives of those we meet, one life at a time. Each animal we intake is vaccinated, brought up to date on vaccines and prevention, spayed/neutered and microchipped. We often encounter heartworm positive dogs, which require treatment. The cost for each case if roughly $400 (dependent upon size.) 

In addition to our daily work, our  hope is to establish trap/neuter/release programs for feral cats in Laurens, Johnson, Wilkinson, Washington and Treutlen counties, by January of 2020. To properly effect this cause, we must generate funding to provide traps, vaccinations and pay for vetting services.
