At Hand, Heart + Soul Project, we believe wellness starts with access to locally grown, nutrient-rich food.

Since 2018, we’ve been boots-on-the-ground in Clayton County—nourishing, celebrating, and championing the well-being of kids and families through holistic wellness education, advocacy for just food systems, and access to nutrient-dense, locally grown food.

How we’ve shown up in the community:

  • Partnered with 14 early care and K–12 programs
  • Provided 1,050+ hours of hands-on education, reaching over 1,300 children, staff, and families annually
  • Nurtured 9 early childhood gardens and 1 community garden
  • Distributed 43,000+ pounds of fresh produce to more than 2,100 residents through pop-up farm stands and emergency food programs
  • Collaborated with 50+ local organizations to offer community-rooted programs—grassroots organizing, resident advocacy training, cooking, gardening, and fitness classes
  • Engaged 2,500+ residents annually at signature events and gatherings

The village is growing — and so are our needs.

As our work deepens in today’s shifting and uncertain political landscape, the urgency to expand our capacity is critical. We’ve officially outgrown our two small office spaces and are calling on our extended community — caring folks like you — to help us build what comes next.

The HHSP Common Space will be a centralized home grounded in healing, learning, and belonging — where we can coordinate our work, gather our community, and steward the land we need to grow food that nourishes and educates.

Looking Ahead, We Remain Committed To:

  • Operating across 14 early care and community sites in the Atlanta Metro Area
  • Partnering with aligned organizations to amplify our mission and vision
  • Expanding our Mobile Market, delivering fresh, affordable produce to early learning centers and neighborhoods
  • Deepening our work in policymaker education, ensuring children, families, and educators are heard where decisions are made
  • Launching youth-led programming that extends our reach beyond Georgia to Washington, D.C., and beyond

Explore our programs, our impact, and our values — and join us in cultivating wellness for stronger, healthier communities.
