Founded in 1871, The United Methodist Children’s Home provides children with safe and loving foster-care homes; and at-risk young adults and families potentially facing homelessness with safe and supportive services. Today, The Children’s Home serves over 240 children and adults a day in 52 counties across North Georgia.
Get involved with The Children's Home by fostering, voluteering, giving, and/or praying.
Currently, 13,000 children are in state custody (foster care) and are unable to live with their biological families. Make a difference in the life of a child by opening your heart and your home. Not only will the lives of foster children be touched, but your life will be enriched as well. Learn more about becoming a foster parent at one of
our upcoming Foster Care Ministry Informational Sessions at fosterRSVP.com.
For the children, youth and families who need our holistic care; the difference our volunteers make is immeasurable. We offer meaningful opportunities for individuals, groups and organizations with diverse interests and schedules.
Make a one-time gift or become a sustaining monthly donor. Your gift enables us to recruit and train new foster parents; house and support young adults entrusted to our care; and provide transitional housing and support for homeless families.
Pray for the children, youth and families we serve; that they will be restored from trauma through Jesus Christ.
