Rainbow House Children’s Resource Center has been serving Houston County, Georgia, since 1986.  We offer advocacy services to child victims and their family, as well as services to prevent abuse from occurring. Our Child Advocacy Center clients are referred to us by the Department of Family and Children Services or the Juvenile
Division of Houston County Sheriffs Office after an allegation of child maltreatment has been reported. We offer a safe, family friendly environment for children ages 4-17 to be interviewed regarding their alleged abuse and to seek treatment for that abuse.   At the same time, our prevention programs offer a variety of services to help facilitate the development of healthy families.  We offer child abuse prevention training, parenting classes and parent support, through programs such as First Steps and Healthy Families.
