A Dream for a Cure in their Lifetime
Hemophilia of Georgia is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing services and support for people who have inherited bleeding disorders. We are dedicated to finding a cure.
Your Contribution is Vital
Your donation will fund important reserach projects, such as gene therapy. We are closer than ever to finding a cure and are determined to realize the dream in these boys' lifetime.
Pictured above is Camp Wannaklot camper, Ethan, getting ready for a day of adventure at camp. He must infuse protein factor several times a week to elevate his blood protein levels, which will help him avoid a serious bleed. Camp is just one of HoG's important programs to support the bleeding disorder community.
Inherited bleeding disorders affect more than the person with the diagnosis. Most parents don’t have a medical background, and the thought of sticking a needle in their child’s arm to infuse clotting factor is scary. The treatment, which allows people to live healthy lives, is invasive and can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars every year. We educate and support our clients to reduce the burden of living with a bleeding disorder.
Funding for research is a high priority for Hemophilia of Georgia.
Researchers at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are seeking a cure for hemophilia through funding provided by Hemophilia of Georgia.
Don’t let a cure slip away.
