I am a fundraiser for
Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance, Inc.
SEFAA, Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance, is a unique organization where people can learn a wide variety of fiber techniques, meet other textile enthusiasts to share ideas and methods, exhibit and sell their work, and take a break from technology to make something. There's no other place like it in the state of Georgia!
SEFAA is a nonprofit organization that depends, as do many nonprofits, on programming income as well as donations to cover the costs of operations. The organization participates with other textile-oriented groups to offer classes and programs to people of all ages, to stock a wonderful library, to hold exhibits of fiber art, and to produce opportunities for fiber artists to show and sell their work.
The classes I've taken at SEFAA have broadened my quilting and sewing abilities and shown me how to do things I'd never thought I would be able to do! The programs I've attended have inspired me to try new techniques and learn about new artists.
Simply said, SEFAA has supported me in my explorations in fiber art. The least I can do is support SEFAA!
