Located in Midtown Atlanta, the Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI) has empowered people with vision loss to live with independence and dignity for over 50 years. As Georgia’s largest comprehensive, fully accredited organization providing rehabilitation services, CVI provides the following programs:

STARS program for elementary to high school students

BEGIN program for infants and children up to age five

VisAbility Hub, which serves as a point
of entry into the organization for many clients,
offers information, guidance, products and
training to help individuals with vision loss
live with independence and dignity.
Nearly two-thirds of CVI’s annual budget must be raised through donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and service groups, as well as the proceeds from fundraising events.

Help us continue to provide services and support to the individuals and families in our programs.  Your support of CVI will go toward helping people who are blind or visually impaired in our local community here in Georgia. By making a donation to CVI, your gift of – $10, $20, $50, or whatever amount is meaningful to you – will help us continue our life-changing work.

This year CVI has been selected to participate in the SunTrust Foundation Financial Wellness Challenge on Georgia Gives Day. We are one of 50 organizations across the state competing for an incentive grant ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. We need to raise at least $2,500 in order to be eligible for the match.  Please give today!
