The mission of the Columbus Botanical Garden is to develop gardens, protect woodlands, and provide educational programs that stimulate the imagination and deepen our understanding and appreciation of nature.

What We Do:

*Preserve 23 acres in north Columbus
*Connect visitors with nature
*Inspire horticultural ideas
*Educate school children and adults about gardening
*Celebrate life in a beautiful, serene environment

Gardens: Visit our cottage garden, herb garden, vegetable garden, event lawn, and camellia garden as well as native wetland flora and fauna year-round.

Joann Holt Walking Trail: Stroll through this approximate mile-long looping trail through hardwood and pine trees.

Birding: See robins, goldfinches, blue jays, woodpeckers, cardinals and red-tailed hawks, among others, at our feeders and in the trees.

Workshops and Events: Join us to learn from experienced speakers on a variety of topics. We offer both children and adult educational programming.

Plant Sale: Shop our biannual plant sales for the best selection of blooms, crafts, and more.

History: Enjoy historic structures like the Farmhouse, Gin House, and Carriage House Barn.
