The mission of the Columbus Botanical Garden is to develop gardens, protect woodlands, and provide educational programs that stimulate the imagination and deepen our understanding and appreciation of nature.
While at the Columbus Botanical Garden, you can enjoy
Gardens: Visit the Sally H. Adams Vegetables Terraces, Our Mother's Rose Garden and the Sam M. Wellborn Camellia Garden as well as the farmhouse garden.
Joann Holt Walking Trail: Stroll along this scenic mile-long trail meandering through hardwood and pine trees observing and enjoying native flora and fauna year-round.
Birding: See robins, goldfinches, blue jays, woodpeckers, cardinals and red-tailed hawks, among others, at our feeders and in the trees.
Workshops and Events: Join us to learn from experienced speakers on a variety of topics. We offer both children and adult educational programming.
Plant Sale: Shop our spring plant sale for the best selection of high quality, hard-to-find blooms, crafts and more.
History: Enjoy historic structures like the Adams Farmhouse, Gin House and Carriage House Barn.
