The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia (CCCG) is a nonprofit, interfaith organization offering counseling, chaplaincy and education to individuals, couples, families, congregations, companies, and organizations. CCCG is one of the largest counseling centers in the Samaritan network and one of the largest and most diverse in the country.  We serve the community through three core programs:

·    Counseling Programs:  We provide affordable evidence-based  counseling to persons of all income levels at 17 locations in metro Atlanta and North Georgia. CCCG licensed counselors, marriage & family therapists, social workers, and psychologists provide specialized treatment for children, families, persons dealing with trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. CCCG also has a substance use disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). All of CCCG’s counseling programs are CARF Accredited.
·    Counseling Training Program: CCCG has 20 multicultural and international residents in training. Most residents study in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)/ Doctor of Theology (ThD) program offered in partnership with the Interdenominational Theology Center, the Emory Candler School of Theology, and Columbia Theological Seminary.
·    Our Chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program is certified and accredited by the American Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. This program offers chaplaincy services and training in a wide variety of contexts including hospitals, congregations and community-based centers. CCCG trains between 80-90 CPE students a year, many of whom are also studying in the PhD/ThD program offered jointly with the schools mentioned above.
We continually explore and develop new models for delivering mental health care to underserved populations in metro Atlanta and the Southeast. Annually, our combined programs impact over 350,000 Georgians, but there are so many more hurting and in need of a safe space to deal with their traumatic issues.
It is community support  that allows CCCG to serve low income individuals that would not otherwise be able to afford this help, even on a sliding scale.
