Because of support from donors like you, Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency (ACSS) is the largest and most successful provider of employment resources for homeless individuals in metro Atlanta.  Together, through programs of job readiness and life stabilization, we are helping homeless men and women achieve economic self-sufficiency and go on to thrive in healthy, independent lives.

Homelessness in Atlanta
Tonight more than 7,000 men, women and children will sleep in cars, under bridges, in shelters and on the streets of Atlanta.  More than 25,000 Atlantans will experience homelessness at some point in 2017.

How do we break the cycle?  Support ACSS and help these individuals get the tools they need to restore confidence, dignity and re-enter the workforce.  The answer is found in more than food and shelter.  Through ACSS, once homeless individuals are now working, going back to school, finding permanent housing and forever breaking the cycle of homelessness.

New Beginnings by the Numbers
