The Georgia SPCA helps our communities in so many ways. Last year, we rescued and found loving homes for nearly 1,300 homeless, abused or abandoned dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. But the Georgia SPCA is more than just an animal shelter. The shelter also helps people take good care of the animal companions they already have by offering low-cost vaccination clinics and affordable spay and neuter services to prevent the birth of unwanted litters of puppies, and we offer advice and education to help people choose the right pet and keep it for a lifetime.
To help the Georgia SPCA save more lives, I’ve created a fundraising page and set a goal of $1,000 Your contribution will go twice as far because our Board of Directors is matching all donations dollar for dollar up to a grand total of $25,000
Your support helps sweet dogs like Beignet and her five puppie who were scheduled to be put down the day we rescued them from animal control. Beignet had heartworms and a severe respiratory infection, but thanks to donor support and the care of a devoted foster family, Beignet received the nurturing she needed to heal. Beignet and all five of her adorble puppies found loving forever homes.
Or your gift might help tiny abandoned kittens like Wee Bit, who was found by the side of the road suffering with a broken jaw. A kind-hearted gentleman rescued Wee Bit and brought him to the shelter. Thanks to the generosity of concerned animal lovers and a caring foster family, Wee Bit healed, and then met her perfect match.
If you've opened your heart to a homeless pet, you know the unconditional love and devotion of a rescued animal that has been given a second chance for a lifetime of love and compaionship. Please help them with a gift before Friday, November 18.
Thank you so much for your kindness toward animals like these, who come into the shelter every day in need of care, love and our assistance.
