"The rescue of one animal doesn't change the world,
but for that one animal the whole world changes"

The Georgia SPCA's vision is "No More Homeless Cats or Dogs" in the world.  Since 2007, we have rescued and found homes for more than 10,000 cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies.

Our most visible work is our Pet Adoption program.  We rescue and place as many homeless pets as possible into their forever homes.  Many of the animals come from county animal control facilities, where they face euthanasia due to lack of space, as well as from people who can no longer care for their pet due to health or family issues.

Through our Compassionate Hearts program, we rescue and provide treatment to sick, injured, or abused animals, giving them a chance for a healthy and happy new life in a loving home.

The Georgia SPCA also serves as a valuable resource in the community through our promotion of responsible pet ownership.  Our bi-monthly, low-cost pet Vaccination Clinics are always well attended, and we provide low-cost Spay / Neuter services to prevent unwanted litters.

Due to our conscientious management of our resources, 95% of our operating budget is spent on programs and services to help animals, pet owners, and our community.
